 W.A.L.T Write a narrative 

 I went on an adventure to the forest. He said to his 'Mum, can I go to the forest to do something?’ mum says sure but don't get lost. Me walks out his front door and walks to the forest and finally gets there “well, time to find something to do” I walk deeper and deeper into the forest going in random directions looking around, he's lost. He called out “ is anybody there?” no one responds except for birds flying over him. with a gust of wind he fell over in a powerful blast falling into a pit. He looked around saying in his head where am and what is this place? He looked behind him, a door he said he walks in to the door seeing other plants than before walking around trying to find where i am i look around and see a footprint in the mud and went the direction the footprints…. I didn’t know who they would belong to...

when i go camping

 The difference between camping in Antarctica and in Kaikoura is Antarctica has a lot of snow and Kaikoura doesn't have snow a lot. When i go camping i normally go in a caravan not in a tent. There are more penguins Antarctica than in Kaikoura ether.  Normally i go camping in summer so i don't freeze but i would if i went camping in Antarctica. I also go swimming i wouldn't go swimming in Antarctica because there are dangerous animals in the water and it is freezing. I always go out in the boat but there is to much ice in Antarctica

hyperbole

 WALT: use hyperboles in our writing

when i woke up i was as hungry as a lion if it hadn't eaten in 13 days.

when i started doing my school work it was as boring as watch a sloth clime a tree

when i go to the beach i will run as fast as a cheetah

Simile

 W.A.L.T use a simile.  My class has been learning about what a simile is, i have wrote about a dragon that his breath was as hot as lava

Haiku poem

W.A.L.T write a haiku poem 

We have been learning to write haiku poems. They have different syllables
 in each line.

Jumping in the leaves,

Leaves are falling from the sky,

Leaves are like chippies.

My Report about NBC!

W.A.L.T write information reports

In room 2 we have been researching and learning about new Brighton catholic (NBC).

We looked at time capsules, interviewed ms Daines (the principal), and went around the school to take notes. I enjoyed this because I liked being outside and walking around!

Thank You Letters

 W.A.L.T Show our appreciation in a written letter. 

We are writing thank you letters to show our appreciation for the parents that helped us. 

Dear Sam, 

Thank you for looking after me when I missed my mum. 

Without you I wouldn't have been as happy. My favourite part of camp was seeing the waterfalls because they were so massive. I also liked swimming in the water but it was freezing.
